Divorce Arbitration Collaborative Law Coaching Adoption Wills & Estates
Divorce & Separation
We will advise and represent you with respect to all matters arising from your divorce and separation including but not limited to assisting you with issues concerning parenting, child support, spousal support and the division of your family property. This may include representing you in court, assisting you with negotiating a settlement, preparing court documents or settlement agreements and generally guiding you through the many issues that will arise from a family breakdown.
Arbitration
Many of our lawyers are trained as Mediators and Arbitrators and are happy to provide both mediation and arbitration services to families who are seeking an alternative means of resolving their disputes. We also provide for a dispute resolution process, Chambers Arbitration at Matkovic Allan, similar to what would occur at a court hearing for more immediate and time sensitive issues such as interim arrangements for child support, spousal support and parenting time.
Collaborative Law
As another alternative to having your family matter resolved in court, Matkovic Allan LLP has lawyers who are trained in the Collaborative Law process and will be pleased to assist you in this regard.
Coaching & Consultation
If you would like to represent yourself in court or in a mediation or arbitration proceeding, you may find it beneficial to consult with one of our lawyers to provide you with specific advice and information on certain issues. We also provide “coaching services” to assist you with how to make presentations to a court or to an arbitrator in the most effective manner possible.
Adoption
Our lawyers provide advice and assistance to those who would like to adopt a child or are considering the option of surrogacy.
Wills & Estates
Having a valid will is an important and necessary part of planning for your family’s future. Our firm will help you with the preparation of your will and other necessary documents to ensure that you and your family are protected in the event of your death or incapacity.
